cover highlighting everything I found romantic. (this book is now
covered with yellow highlighting.) I put a ribbon around the book
and gave it to my honey as a "just because I love you
gift". This has changed our relationship. It's Great!!! Now
all he has to do is open the book, look for the yellow, and do it.
He doesn't have to think about it and I can be pleasantly
surprised with whatever he chooses. I even look at it for ideas

In this tape, Dyer emphasizes that everything we need is already within us. We do not need to hang on to the past as an excuse for not doing what we are capable of doing today. Just as the wake of a boat is merely the path of where it has been, it does not help move the boat forward.
Dyer also recites the poem, "The Cookie Thief," on this video. There are also glimpses of Dyer at home, playing basketball with his children, and walking with his wife Marcelene. This was a nice touch, not overdone, just showing an author/teacher whose life is clearly in balance.
The setting for Dyer's talk is very pleasant, with many plants in the background and soothing colors. The camera shows reaction shots of the audience during the talk. It is professionally filmed, with crisp and clear audio and video.
